I know sometimes we make a stab at it, believe me, my sister had bilateral carpal tunnel surgery after living with pain for 2 years and said PT didn’t work. She came to me 3 times in that period, felt better after the treatment, but. “It came back”. Well, OF COURSE it came back, she didn’t put enough effort into it! 

Currently, I have a system with combined therapies to release pain from the muscles, fascia, and nerves and I call it BEYOND STRETCHING. I have used it on myself, so I KNOW it works!

I fell a few years ago walking the dog in the dark and tripped over the sidewalk. Since then, I have been limping on and off with pain the entire time. I knew that I needed to stretch and strengthen my knees, but couldn’t seem to get into a consistent program. I had friends and colleagues asking when I would get surgery. 

I KNEW that I didn’t need it! If I just put the time in, it would feel better! 

So, if you know me, I am a perfectionist and a people pleaser (which I have been working on, believe me) but I decided, is that really bad? Certainly not for my clients! I work VERY HARD to help them heal in any way that I can, using healing techniques from various cultures, especially if they are not painful. 

How Rapid Release Vibration and Red Light Therapy Transformed My Life

I first discovered the Rapid Release Vibration system during COVID and I LOVED it, but who could put the money out for something like that when we are scrambling to pay the mortgage? When the pain was getting ridiculous, and I got sick of looking old due to my limping, I contacted my friend who had introduced it to me and asked if he still liked it. He told me that it is so amazing, that it is the only treatment that he gives now.

This is a tool that is comfortable, does not bang up against the bones, and can feel like HEAVEN! You know, either a cool vibration or that good hurt you WANT for release of the tissues. It allows me to get directly over the tendon that is pulling on the boney attachment, giving you the “bone” pain. So, let me give you a tip: the bones have very few pain fibers. The pain you feel is usually from the tendons (muscle attachment to the bone) the cartilage (padding between the bones), the ligaments (fibers attaching bone to bone), the fascia (thin layer of tissue which surrounds and supports ALL of the structures in the body-nerves, muscles, organs, bones, etc..) or the nerves, which are often compressed by the previos tissues mentioned.

This is soft tissue, not bone so, sure, some people with bone-on-bone need a joint replacement, but does everyone? I didn’t and I have seen orthopedic surgeons since I was 9 years old! I have had reconstructive surgery in both knees as a teenager and follow up surgeries for subsequent injuries. Most people would give up and just get the surgery. I DIDN’T BELIEVE IT WAS NECESSARY. I have lived with knee pain off and on all of my life and knew my body could heal on its own if I gave it a chance. 

So, what did I do? I sought out my friend and bought the machine to add it to my practice. After one self-provided session, I was feeling better! After two I wasn’t limping! Now, I am not saying that is all it took, but it sent me on my way! HALLELUYAH! I LIKE this! Not limping, no pain, with two sessions? To maintain it, I have returned to stretching myself and I do give myself another treatment when I need it, but it proves to me that I don’t NEED surgery. 

After discovering this great treatment, my “perfectionism” took me a step farther. Can I help the treatment last longer?
